Tammy Lynn Gilmore is a live events producer, community builder, creator of the SXSW community grant program. She helped build SXSW Interactive and has programmed innovation Summits with Singularity University partners in countries from Greece to Sweden to South Africa. She loves working on all things where art, creativity, technology, science and human rights meet.

She is now producing a multi-venue art installation project for Dallas Arts District called RedBall Project. She was recently the Program Lead for Canva Create, their branded annual design event. She produced immersive, experiential event activations for gaming companies at DICE and GDC. She was the community lead at the location-based social app Gowalla. She executive produced a campaign launch for the UN-endorsed Digital Public Goods Alliance. She oversaw the first-ever exhibition for the 3rd International Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA) led by the Africa CDC.

Career Highlights

Digital Public Goods Alliance (DPGA): Consulted on their United Nations-endorsed 50-in-5 campaign launch and produced their “DPI Impact Stories” series in partnership with BMGF, UNDP, UNICEF, Co-Develop Fund and the World Bank.

Conference for Public Health in Africa (CPHIA): Consulted for Africa Centers for Disease Control and Africa Health Business on their first-ever exhibition in Lusaka, Zambia.

SXSW: Created and curated the Social Impact programming, Community Service Awards show and the SXSW Grants Program. Co-founded and developed programming for SXAméricas, the part of the festival dedicated to Latino culture.

Singularity University: Led content strategy, production and operations for 28 Singularity University International Summits as well as designing and executing intimate welcome retreats. This included organizing all onsite needs for speakers, sponsors and staff for international destination events in Greece, South Africa, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Colombia, Peru, Canada, Portugal, Czech Republic, Mexico, Thailand, Brazil, the Netherlands and Australia.

Canva Create: Program Lead at Public School creative agency for the 2026 edition of this event. Includes: speaker & session development, audience strategy & format innovation and collaboration & client partnership.

Texas Women Songwriters Festival: Executive Producer alongside festival co-founder Mandy Rowden! This is the first-ever festival focusing on women songwriters in Texas.

Cannes XR: Produced content for this three-day event dedicated to international digital creation including sessions Preventing Pandemics and Protecting Pangolins from Wildlife Trafficking and Virtual Diving with 21st Century Mermaids.

Cannes Lions: Consulted on fresh, outside-the-box ideas for networking events for Chicago and Texas based agencies. Liaised between Cannes Lions and SXSW on charitable efforts.

House of Beautiful Business: Designed, curated and hosted an intimate jazz-themed welcome dinner for festival participants at a traditional riad in Tangier, Morocco.

Gowalla: Developed and executed a comprehensive community outreach strategy for Gowalla, a seed-stage startup, including the launch event at SXSW 2023.
